We build the infrastructure between worlds.
We pursue systems that create new capabilities by connecting domains that previously operated independently.
Technology at boundaries
Void Lattice develops systems where previously separate domains meet. New capability appears at the seam.
- B-01PhysicalandDigital
Sensing and actuation that keep software and the physical world in agreement.
- B-02HumanandMachine
Interfaces through which people direct and understand capable systems.
- B-03MachineandMachine
Coordination between devices, services, and agents without a person in the loop.
- B-04EarthandSpace
Communications and infrastructure that extend beyond the surface.
- B-05SoftwareandHardware
Systems designed as one thing, not a program running on a box.
- B-06LightandComputation
Photonic signal paths that meet conventional processing.
- B-07SensingandIntelligence
Measurement that becomes understanding, and understanding that becomes action.
Approach
A small number of principles decide what gets built and how.
- 01
Boundaries are where capability appears.
We look for places where two mature systems meet badly, and build the structure that lets them work as one. That structure is the product.
- 02
Physics sets the constraints.
Software is designed around what light, materials, and mechanisms can actually do. The bench is consulted before the roadmap.
- 03
Build to understand.
A working prototype precedes the paper, the deck, and the company. Labs exists so that ideas are tested as systems, not as slides.
- 04
Long horizons, real deliverables.
Research programs are measured in years. Each year still has to produce something that runs.
Where the work happens
Early systems are built inside Labs. Long-horizon questions are pursued as research programs. Proven technology becomes a product, a piece of infrastructure, or a company.
